The Panamerican Institute of Geography and History organizes a series of events on scientific answers to the Covid pandemic. We were pleased to take part in the first edition of the series with a talk on our experiences of mapping solidarity initiatives in Rio Grande do Sul and mapping global tenant protections and housing justice actions with the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project.
After the talk, we had the pleasure to discuss existing and possible uses of geospatial data against the pandemic and the economic crisis that comes with it with about 150 scientists from most Latin American countries.
